What the ground was
Five hundred acres on the edge of Jaipur, ecologically restored over many years by the landowner and developer, held as bioreserve and organic production. A remarkable landscape with no district life yet running on it.
What was made
A placemaking strategy and district transformation programme: arrival and public realm, a calendar of cultural and learning programming, the School of Pursuits and Passions curated by us, a farmers' market, The Big Sit, and a resident and visitor experience shaped season by season.
What changed
The estate reads as a district rather than an estate. Restored ground now carries an audience, a programme and a public, which is what turns ecological value into occupancy and demand.
