We shape how places come alive, through culture, technology, and experience.

As cities get built, and rebuilt, the question of our time is 'what quality of experience are they producing?'.

Most developments today are engineered for efficiency. Few are designed for memory, identity, or cultural relevance. We design the experience layer of places — the invisible system that shapes how people arrive, move, engage, and return. In a world of increasingly similar developments, lived experience matters more.

In a world of sameness, experience matters more. Successful places are celebrated for their scale and quality of infrastructure. Yet, places that nourish people cognitively and connect with them emotionally will define the emergent frontier.

A global collective of independent studios and practitioners designing the experiential layer of the built environment.

Our work brings together four strands as a coherent ecosystem.

  • 01Spatial thinkingHow a place is read, navigated and inhabited.
  • 02Cultural narrativesThe stories, references and rituals that give a place identity.
  • 03Digital interactionInterfaces, content and systems that extend place into the screen.
  • 04Public engagementProgramming, partnerships and participation that keep places alive.
